As a member of the Organizations and Structures team, the Senior Organizational Strategy Consultant will manage the headcount and a multi-million compensation budget for a suite of corporate functions. The Senior Organizational Strategy Consultant will lead the end-to-end design of the operating model, by analyzing people, processes, and technology components of the supply chain, and drive synergies and efficiencies in each phase of the pipeline. This role spans the front-end strategy development and analysis, as well as follow-through due diligence and execution to implement change in the current operating model of the bank. This individual will manage projects and change, by working with C-level executives, their supporting teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the business’s strategies and objectives.


• Initiate and/or lead sensitive strategic operating model projects in partnership with the business and other key stakeholders

• Define and design effective organizational structures, supporting processes, and technology infrastructure, as well as lead the business case development for these projects

• Analyze the organizational/functional structures of the Bank’s units to identify opportunities for improvement, using criteria of homogeneity, flexibility and simplicity, as well as control and monitor authorized headcount and compensation budgets

• Work proactively with HR, Business Finance Officers, IT, and corporate and business line stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvements in our systems, processes, and functionality to streamline and reduce costs

• Establish governance and oversight of operating model and efficiency initiatives, ensuring the necessary interaction model is maintained with key stakeholders across the organization

• Create internal (Santander) and corporate reporting in terms of headcount and structures (Organizational Charts) on an ad-hoc basis

• Participate in the development of the strategic plan and operating plan of the Organizations &Structures and Human Resources corresponding systems



• At least 5 years of related experience in managing human capital and/or organizational design, management consulting, strategy, HR, or FP&A is required

• Experience with compensation modeling and process automation is preferred

• Must be highly proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with PeopleSoft and Fusion is beneficial

• A Bachelors’ degree is required; MS/ MBA is preferred

• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including but not limited to strong communication and presentation skills

• Strong analytical and strategic skills are required, as well as the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
