JOB DESCRIPTION

The Pressure Truck Operator is responsible for the successful job-site installation and service of corod, sucker rod, ponies, polish rods, pumps and drive units in a safe and efficient manner so as to exceed the customers’ expectations.

Primary Job Duties & Responsiblities:

  • Work together with rig crew to maintain one work-team on site

  • Assist rig crew throughout the job

  • Pro-actively participate and follow Weatherford and the customer safety management plans

  • Report any incidents, hazards and near misses to the employee's supervisor for follow-up per Weatherford's safety management policy

  • Assist with preventative maintenance on the pressure truck and Corod rig

  • Take part to ensure equipment and crew are working safely and following procedures

  • Participate in monthly safety meetings

  • Ensure paperwork and all other documentation is completed on time

  • Other related job duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Related pressure/flush-by and/or Corig Push Operator experience is required

  • Class 1 or 3 driver's license with Q endorsement and clean driver's abstract

  • 2 years oilfield rig experience considered an asset

  • H2S & First Aid Training required

  • Uncompromising attitude to safety performance and service quality excellence

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting

  • Personnel must understand the importance of teamwork

  • Attention to safety hazards and procedures is critical

  • Must be able to work for extended lengths of time in all types of weather

  • Must be flexible to work in remote locations, varying work schedules and extreme conditions

  • This position is considered a safety sensitive position and qualified candidates will be required to pass a Pre-employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Test
