Job Summary Defines, designs and implements process improvements focused on the customer experience within Johnson Controls Fire and Security Business in North America. Ensures integration and alignment vertically and horizontally, across organization. Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies and priorities. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure project success. Ensure customer-centric programs are well executed Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and change management methodologies and have appropriate levels of certification for the role.

Job Responsibility * Directs teams in institutionalizing a customer focus mindset while successfully leading major projects to ensure strategic planning and tactical execution, in accordance with Customer Experience/Process Excellence program directives.

  • Conducts advanced strategic planning and highly complex tactical project execution in accordance with Customer Experience/Process Excellence program directives to ensure organization objectives are met. Contributes to the identification of projects that meet strategic objectives.

  • Displays continuously the characteristics of a change leader in the organization.

  • Contributes to Operation Support & Service and Process Excellence performance metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality, and customer focus are met. Ensure all financial reporting and models are properly approved by FP&A and delivered on time.

  • Supports communications with management to review and examine project progress. Also provides publish-ready communications to update and promote program/projects.

  • Leads and delivers large, complex cross functional projects and initiatives following Process Excellence methods and concepts.

  • The ability to travel, up to 50% as required / /

    Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in relevant discipline from an accredited university.

  • Black Belt or equivalent accreditation is required. Master Black Belt training or certification preferred.

  • Five (5 ) years leadership experience with at least three years of process improvement and/or project leadership experience.

    Technical Skills

  • Proficient with use of computer and software applications including Minitab, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Project management skills - Strong ability to lead projects within budget, and in a timely manner

  • Ability to interface with Business and Technical Leaders throughout all levels of the organization
