Job Description:

At Regions, our Operations Supervisor coordinates and directs the daily operations of an operations unit.

Primary Responsibilities

•Assigns work and determines workflow

•Manages nonexempt staff

•Supervises team to ensure that all quality standards are met

•Identifies, designs and implements process improvements to increase department efficiency

•Has the responsibility for hiring, discipline, coaching and counseling of associates

•Ensures staff is properly trained and adheres to policy and procedures

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and five years banking experience required of which three years’ experience must be in a leadership role (i.e., team leader, supervisor, manager)

•Knowledge of banking products and banking systems required

•Individual must have strong PC skills and excellent written and oral communications skills

•Strong organizational and time management skills are a must with the ability to multi-task

•Knowledge and understanding of applicable standard practices and regulations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Regulation E guidelines and timeframes as well as meeting department Service Level Agreements

  • Monitors daily production trends/data to manage department and financial impact to the Bank while ensuring compliance to policy and banking regulations

  • Researching and resolving escalations from various stakeholders

  • Create and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials to maximize customer service while managing risk of daily operations

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision

  • Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledgeable of Regulations E

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)

  • Ability to collaborate with management, external partners, and external vendors on business decisions

  • Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently to deliver recommendations to management

  • Strong leadership skills
