The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will be working within the Operationg Room,which features 11 fully equiped surgical rooms, including two open heart suites, a cystoscopy suite, and a dedicated ophthalmology suite.
The RN First Assistant (RNFA) renders direct patient care as part of the perioperative role by assisting the surgeon in the surgical treatment of the patient.
An Associate's degree in nursing is required and BSN is strongly preferred.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required.
Previous experience as a First Assistant is required
