Syntelligent is seeking an Operations and Integrations Officer in Bethesda, MD. There is extensive travel required in this role supporting COCOMS. Travel could be 3 months+ at a time; when not traveling work will be performed at the client's Bethesda, MD facility.
Responsible for supporting a technical and intelligence related program for strategic and tactical missions in the area of document and media exploitation (DOMEX). Coordinate with government leads to execute the contract's requirements IAW government agency's policies, procedures and guidelines. Support coordination efforts for the National Media Exploitation Center’s (NMEC) DOMEX operations on a domestic and global basis. Advise on acceptable levels of DOMEX support to ongoing regional, global, and domestic operations and activities for intelligence, defense, homeland security, law enforcement agencies, and foreign partner nations. Evaluate NMEC field site DOMEX operational areas to identify specific requirements for actions needed to meet mission requirements at NMEC headquarters.
Provides Integration, support across a broad spectrum of DOMEX requirements.
Support interactions with customers and mission partners.
Conduct analysis of customer requirements to develop and propose solutions to address operational needs.
On a temporary duty basis, travels independently to NMEC’s overseas sites and provides input and feedback on DOMEX contingency operations (CONOPs) and policies (could be up to and including 6 months)
Oversees and evaluates NMEC field site’s DOMEX operational areas to identify specific requirements and to plan and schedule for actions needed to meet those requirements at NMEC headquarters.
Reviews DOMEX operations and actions to identify and record best practices, inefficient practices, and recommend improvements.
Determines which NMEC organizations and sub-elements should be involved in sensitive, information sharing activities among the DOMEX Enterprise, and effectively links them together to ensure maximum participation and success in support of the overall DOMEX Enterprise.
Independently authors and submits for publication numerous sensitive, high-level documents to senior NMEC and DIA leadership on a consistent basis.
Examine and recommend for Government approval, DOMEX operations and actions which identify and record best practices, inefficient practices, and recommended improvements.
Deliver briefings to both small and large groups to include high level senior personnel.
Provide support in the development of operational plans for elements and combatant commands.
Provide on-site CONUS and OCONUS DOMEX support to enable customer operations, coordinate training, participate in exercises, and routinely exchange DOMEX-related information.
Develop and maintain relationships with DOMEX customers and mission partners.
Possesses ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Possesses excellent oral, written, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure with tight deadlines.
Flexibility, a self starter, mission focused and minimal oversight are keys to the success of this program.
Performance of Extended Work Week (EWW) may be required.
Active or very recent (within past 24 months) TS/SCI security clearance
At least 8 years experience with the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), Homeland Security (HS) or Law Enforcement Agency
Proven experience and capability using MS Office Suite with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of IC requirements tasking procedures.
A basic understanding of the intelligence cycle with entry level experience in one of the formal intelligence disciplines: Human Intelligence, Geospatial Intelligence, Measurement and Signature Intelligence, Open Source Intelligence, Signals Intelligence, All-Source Intelligence or Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance
Knowledge of DIA organization and structure
Experience supporting the NMEC customer highly desired.
Experience in DOMEX processes, the National and Operational DOMEX communities.
