We're looking for an experienced candidate to join our Operations Income & Expense team who wants to use their skillset and expertise to deliver end-to-end implementations of business processes in the Operations Division at Goldman Sachs.

Fees and Commissions Operations (FCO) is responsible for managing the firms Brokerage, Clearance and Exchange income and expenses, one of the largest expense lines for the firm. Within this, Commissions control is responsible for paying (and billing) execution commissions and brokerage for Listed Derivatives and OTC trades; covering all global product lines. Core functions include validation of expenses; correct accounting for costs and cost recovery from clients; providing cost transparency to desk heads and franchise managers.



  • Validating Brokerage on a monthly basis

  • Participation in industrialization projects

  • Allocating fees to the correct trading desks

  • Ensuring external parties are paid in a timely manner

  • Closing & Reporting - accrual of BC&E cost to firm's ledger

  • Reconciling the monthly movement in fees

  • Resolving disputes with external & internal parties

  • Addressing ad hoc queries from the Business and Operations

  • Look for constant innovation & process improvement


  • Post qualification experience of minimum 4+ years in Banking or similar environment/ industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, tools and utilities for business use.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Numerate & inquisitive with attention to detail

  • Ability to ask right questions & hunt for potential risks

  • Self-starter with ability to drive initiatives forward independently

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work well under pressure

  • Adept in MS office with strong excel skills and willingness to learn BI tools

  • Excellent client service skills. Ability to face off to Business as well as Operations

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to influence

  • Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
