SOC Operations Manager (OM) in Baghdad, Iraq

SOC is recruiting for a Operations Manager (OM).

*This position is contingent upon award. *

  • Manages task order operations, to include but not limited to the planning, implementation, and management of task order activities and resources.

  • Accountable to the client for the schedule, performance, and quality of task order activities and resources.

  • Implements program strategies to mitigate risk and maintain continuity of operations in accordance with the task order requirements.

  • Provides leadership, management, and direction, in coordination with the CONUS PM, for task order Contractor personnel.

  • Serves as the OCONUS Contractor principal point of contact with the client.

  • Coordinates with CONUS and OCONUS Contractor management in developing professional relationships with OCONUS personnel including, but not limited to:

  • Client

  • Private security personnel working for the client or other government agencies

  • US and foreign diplomatic personnel

  • Foreign security personnel

  • Host nation law enforcement

  • Ensures timely and accurate reporting, as outlined in the task order and in this contract.

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as required by the task order.

  • Must possess either:

  • A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of applicable work experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of applicable work experience

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  • An Associate’s degree and fifteen (15) years of applicable work experience.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.

  • Possession of a PMP certification (www.pmi.org) will be considered to be equivalent to possessing an Associate’s degree and two years of applicable work experience.

Experience may be gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services.
