Job Summary The individual in this position performs various land management and facilities construction related duties for the College of Agriculture. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: operate and provide general maintenance of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, track hoes, motor graders, and rubber tired loaders; provide assistance with construction, maintenance, and repairs of ponds, roadways, farm buildings, and fences; perform general maintenance and repair of tractors, trucks, and construction and farm related equipment; complete carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing, and concrete tasks as needed; perform pasture management and lawn care duties to include planting, mowing/haying, weed trimming, spraying, and fertilizing; assist with special events as needed; and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Entry into applicant pool requires a high school diploma or equivalent. **The selected candidate must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment screening for controlled substances in accordance with DOT/DOD regulations.** A Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one prior to selection is required. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated technical excellence and ability to work both independently and in a team environment are required. Candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States by the employment date. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
