Your key responsibilities

There isn’t an average day for an OME Senior Manager – so you’re likely to spend your time applying a diverse array of tax, economic and financial knowledge in a practical manner to client situations. You will be instrumental in the development and delivery of quality OME work products, providing a detailed analysis and documentation of client information, and managing the OME project plan and team inputs. Overall, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the OME innovation and thought leadership agenda.

  • Provide definitive guidance on complex value chain concepts, situations, and options

  • Possess strong business acumen

  • Articulate vision and manage multiple disciplines/functions to brainstorm about practical solutions relevant to a client situations

  • Create and apply tax solutions in a practical manner to client situations

  • Design and deliver tailored, quality OME work products in a timely and responsive manner

  • Determine and develop the appropriate documentation for clients

  • Create and drive OME innovation and thought leadership efforts

  • Experienced in market business development

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PhD in Business, Finance, Economics or JD or LL.M. (Taxation)

  • Minimum of eight years relevant tax or supply chain work experience in a professional services firm or industry

  • Strong Subpart F experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective time and project management skills for projects that require cross-functional analysis

  • Ability to work in fast-paced professional services environment

  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of time. Candidate can be located in any major EY office

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in a professional services firm.
