Schneider Electric Supplier-Based Logistics Operations Manager in Atlanta, Georgia
We are currently seeking a Supplier-Based Distribution Operations Manager. This position requires a firm understanding of end to end supply chains and 3rd Party Distribution Center operations:
A team builder of internal and partner resources that enables the fulfillment of perfect orders to our customers.
A value chain leader that connects internal /external fulfillment processes to optimize flexibility, resilience, and overall performance of the distribution network.
A change agent that can facilitate key projects and initiatives between Schneider Electric and our fulfillment partners to improve and evolve network capability and performance
This position will be located on-site at ourAtlanta, Georgia Distribution Center.
Reports to the Director North American Logistics - Southern Distribution Operations,Athens, Texas.
This position will manage and monitor order volume flow to and from Schneider Electric’s distribution center and work in collaboration with 3rd Party Logistics Provider on capacity/staffing forecast and to meet and exceed customer commitments.
Support day-to-day operations and relationship management in accordance with operating Agreements, business, and financial objectives.
Develop & apply analysis to resolve ad-hoc issues and adjust to the dynamic requirements of our customer and supplier base by anticipate business concerns related to events and proactively drive actions to mitigate.
Maintain the region/site calendar and communications of upcoming events to key stakeholders
Clearly communicate near-term and evolving needs & priorities with extended stakeholders to successfully scale and evolve Schneider’s Distribution Network.
Adapt scheduling and capacity plan based on product lifecycle activities (new product launch and end of life) & region / site calendar events.
Support enablement of supply chain changes (i.e. fulfillment process changes, transport changes, alternate supply chains, etc.)
Must be an advocate for the region/site as well as the customer when participating in capability enablement projects or analysis of flow changes*
Skills & Experience
8-10 years experience in:
§ Logistics operations, planning, and/or financial management
§ Supply Chain Operations & 3rd Party Supplier Management
§ Data Analysis
§ Strong internal/external communication skills
§ Able to work autonomously with considerable latitude to meet and beat the objectives of the role.
§ Individual expected to operate at various levels of the organization effectively
§ Once the objectives, milestones, & deliverables are agreed, job holder is expected to be able to plan activities and achieve the role objectives
BA or BS in Business or Operations management required, MBA preferred.
