Description/Job Summary

Murray Guard, Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Manager for the Atlanta, GA area. The Operations Manager position is responsible for managing all aspects of security force operations.

  • Under the direction of the General Manager, directly supervise all full-time and part-time security personnel.

  • Prepare schedules for all security officers.

  • Participate in training and the evaluation of personnel.

  • Coach and counsel including disciplinary actions as needed.

  • Ensure all security officer hours are filled. Submit weekly payroll and vacation/time off requests.

  • Assist in maintaining training records for all security officers.

  • Review all daily reports including electronic entries/incident reports. Take action if necessary including follow-up reports to management including clients.

  • Write/Maintain Post Orders for all assigned accounts.

  • Respond and Direct all security personnel when needed 24/7.

  • Proactively responds to client concerns.

  • Participate in site inspections for quality assurance and submit to the General Manager.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Associates or Higher in Business, Security Management or related field preferred.

  • Working knowledge or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). WinTeam knowledge is a plus.

  • Must be highly skilled in customer service. Ability to build and maintain winning relationships with employees and clients.

  • Able to make timely decisions under tight deadlines.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

  • Clear Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Driver s License required.

  • Able to travel in a company vehicle to various locations.

  • Must be able to pass drug screen and comprehensive background investigation.
