Kforce Operations Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

A Kforce client is seeking an Operations Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia (GA). Summary: The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting with coordinating the restoration for all of the critical and potential IT system outages while providing outstanding customer service, accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for support escalation, preparing and sending TCC Notifications and assisting with DR (Disaster Recovery) & ER's (Emergency Response) procedures. Work closely with the TCC Duty Manager and other Support Teams. Keeps the TCC Duty Manager informed of all operational incidents. This Analyst position is also responsible for documenting, publishing, and training Operations personnel in various processes, procedures, and tools. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs well in high-pressure, fast paced environment - both independently and as a team member

  • Facilitates technical bridges as needed

  • Tracks open issues and escalates as appropriate to insure operational success

  • Review support model and identify opportunities for continued process and procedure improvements

  • Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners and service providers

  • Ensure the standards and procedures are adopted and implemented

  • Monitors metrics, problems, trends, etc., to determine solutions and/or process/procedure improvements

  • BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field, with 5 or more years of IT experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training

  • This person must work with the highest levels of integrity and honesty

  • Previous airline industry experience is preferred

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

  • Must provide excellent customer service

  • Efficient with using HP Service Manager is plus

  • Must be willing to work any shift in a 24x7 operation

  • Must be willing to other days as needed

  • Must have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Efficiently escalates and engages appropriate support teams as needed

  • Effectively communicates with management, technical teams and the business
