Currently, our Global Tools & Storage division is searching for a Director of Field Sales & Operations to service our The Home Depot Field Sales Division. The Director currently leads a team of 3 Divisional Sales Managers, 3 Field Operations Mangers, 2 Regional Operations Managers, 26 Market Managers and 140+ Sales Coordinators. As the Director of Field Operations you will be responsible for delivering sales results for a $1.1B account by formulating and executing a plan for your team to drive POS and in turn top line sales; establishing field team monthly/quarterly/yearly goals for all SBD Portfolios; leveraging key relationships with THD’s Field Divisional Merchandising Managers and Regional Merchandising Managers and develop business plans with Market Key Decisions Makers; selling promotional plan to Key Decision Maker to secure critical merchandising space; driving flawless execution of the monthly sales objectives and marketing activations to create consistency and accountability throughout the THD Field Sales Team; and maintaining fiscal responsibility within the team and manage divisional expense budget. This position includes leadership responsibilities which include developing and providing guidance to Divisional Sales Managers and Market Managers; solving difficult employee relation issues, tracking metrics to measure team’s performance; setting a culture of producing results and executing the performance management process for your team. Role Requirements:

  • College Degree
  • 5+ years sales and management experience
  • Possess a strong understanding of the THD Field Operations and THD Retail Sales Channel of Distribution
  • Proven exceptional leadership/management skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to meet and exceed goals and targets
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through with great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and make decisions based on numbers and/or fact-based information
  • Understanding of the cross functional pieces of the SBD business process and bring value added thinking to improve the target business process
  • Willingness to accept and demonstrate the SBD Leadership Qualities
  • Working knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Mail)
