GM Financial Remarketing Solutions Auction Operations Support Analyst in Arlington, Texas

The Remarketing Solutions Auction Operations Support Analysts are responsible for all support functions including but not limited to research, issue resolution, and field (Remarketing Specialist team) and Auction Partner support. The Auction Operations Support Analysts are also responsible for managing and coordinating operations of GM and GM Financial inventory through various sales channels. This includes quality assurance review of various Remarketing functions and updating procedural documentation as necessary.

This team member is responsible for completing a wide variety of complex tasks and has direct contact with other departments and external vendors including, but not limited to, dealerships, auto auctions, online auctions, inspection vendors, and vehicle reporting bureaus.

Achieving optimal business results and department objectives in this position directly affects the financial results of the company.

This position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external partners as well as ensuring departmental competencies and service levels are achieved and maintained.


  • Develop and maintain departmental documentation as directed by management

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of both Upstream and Downstream auction sales procedures

  • Build and develop relationships within various internal GM Financial departments as well as external partners

  • Work directly with internal and external partners in the remediation of compliance related issues as directed by management

  • Seek to improve efficiencies by initiating and sharing ideas for process and quality improvements.

  • Manage/Audit auction sale processes including but not limited to - vehicle transportation, inventory review, vehicle expense audit, and sales reconciliation

  • Review and analyze 3rd party inspections for description accuracy and guideline compliance.

  • Ensure state and federal regulatory compliance as it applies to the sale of repossessed and Off Lease vehicles.

  • Perform other duties, special projects and assignments as directed

  • Ability to work well independently as well as demonstrate positive behaviors in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Auction Remarketing process

  • Strong working knowledge of AutoIMS reporting

  • Working knowledge of repossession procedures and the association between

    repossession agent and auto auctions.

  • Good working knowledge of the finance/auction related industry.

  • Sufficient knowledge of and ability to comply with state and federal guidelines.


  • High school degree required; College degree preferred

  • Automobile remarketing/ Auction sale process experience preferred


  • Normal office environment

  • No travel required
