Summary

This position is a key contributor to the Business Performance Management team within Corporate Operations Services (COS). The Business Management Analyst (BMA) supports Corporate Procurement, Corporate Facilities, Information Lifecycle Management and North Meadows Investment Ltd. in the design, development and execution of a variety of support services utilized by Leaders in Corporate Operations Services to run their respective business functions. This position will be an integral part of the COS Business Management Analysis team, contributing to the operational and strategic planning activities and goals of the department and division. Primary clients of this position will be the COS leadership team, COS staff and other leaders in the organization who are stakeholders of the COS department.

Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • COS product/service catalog including cost accounting and client utilization reporting

  • COS capital governance facilitation, reporting, planning and project maintenance

  • Contribute in continuous improvement initiatives, assessment and analysis as assigned

  • Develop and maintain quality performance management dashboards, scorecards and research services

  • Monitor and evaluate industry best practices, technology and applications

  • Procurement, Information Lifecycle Management and Facilities spend data analysis, benchmarking and reporting

  • Supplier diversity and financial viability analysis

  • Maintains various COS operational reports. E.g. building space, procurement/facilities chargebacks, category spend, third party vendor spend, etc.

  • Interface with internal customers frequently to capture business priorities and understand their ever-changing needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field. E.g. Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting

  • Three or more years of applicable experience

  • High level financial analysis and spreadsheet modeling experience

  • Demonstrates expertise in financial/strategic planning

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service and teamwork

  • Demonstrates ability in data analysis and interpretation

  • Advanced skills in Excel/database applications and other technologies that enable development of strong business insights and analytics

  • Business knowledge – understanding of business models and organization

  • Proven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment
