Phia Cyberspace Joint Operations Planner in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

OVERVIEW

phia is seeking a Cyberspace Joint Operations Planner to support a large Federal government cyber organization.

DUTIES

  • Fully participates and provides substantive contributions to cyberspace operations planning activities coordination through the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) to include Evaluation Request and Response Messages, SAP procedures, and the RAPCO

  • Participate in or serves as a technical expert of all planning methodologies and applications in all phases of military operations, providing analytical expertise and knowledge of operational design, Joint Operation Planning, and APEX

  • Provides significant contribution to the development of cyberspace operations plans, contingency plans, CONOPs, and orders

  • Participate in and support action officers to conduct deliberate planning based on national-level guidance

  • Support the Joint Planning Group (JPG) by conducting operational design to initiate JPG activities

  • Mission analysis, COA development, analysis and approval, and developing commanders' estimates and campaign plans to support orders development and various Cyberspace options for consideration and execution.

  • Use modeling and simulation methodologies to represent networks or environments to support COAs that create the commanders preferred effects.

  • Liaise with other staff agencies and components to keep abreast of current operational and intelligence situations.

  • Advise on any supported commanders’ plans and orders that relate to and may impact the mission

Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Joint Operation Planner

  • Complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance

  • Specialized education in military joint operation planning through the Joint Professional Military Education Phase I/II (JPME I/II). The JIOPC, or other similar military operation planning courses, may be substituted for JPME.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and excellent communications skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • TS/SCI with Poly
