Shotblast Equipment Operator

and some of the industry's most advanced equipment at 10 strategically located sites across the continent.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hard working candidates that will be responsible for the daily set up and operation of the Shotblast Machine. Due to the size, cost, speed, sophistication, and/or complexity of the machinery; previous hands on experience

is required. Perform a variety of duties to clean steel parts using shot-blast machine. Divert parts and activate machine cycle; monitor operation of shot-blast machine and maintain proper shot levels. Handle steel parts and visually inspect and sort according

to finishing needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2yrs of related shotblast machine operating experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and geometric tolerances.

  • Organize parts and prepare them for the next process.

  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander.

  • Ability to use measuring tools such as: tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.

  • Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, add and subtract in fractions and decimals.

  • Must be able to concentrate and maintain productivity in high pressure situations.

  • Must be able to work without close supervision.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Shift: Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) Sunday night thru Friday morning. Overtime will be required as needed.
