This position can be located in our North Druid Hills office in Atlanta or our Alpharetta, GA office.

Current Need

We need an experienced compliance specialist and project manager to join McKesson’s Compliance, Regulatory and Ethics team (CRE). This position currently reports to the Sr. Director, Compliance Strategy and Operations and will be an individual contributor role. S/he is responsible for managing projects and processes related to multiple areas in the function and will also analyze, report and maintain metrics for various programs and federal healthcare and government reporting requirements.

Position Description

As a member of CRE, the Strategy and Operations manager will provide support to subject matters experts on the CRE team, including in the areas of fraud and abuse, government contracts, privacy, investigations, risk assessments and monitoring, as well as to compliance professionals in McKesson’s business units and corporate functions. S/he will play a key role in managing significant compliance projects, streamlining processes, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of compliance services to relevant stakeholders. S/he must work with key multi-functional stakeholder teams and proactively ensure alignment with and integration across multiple business units that may have unique operational needs.

This role requires significant project management skill and cross-functional collaboration and engagement, including interactions with all levels of management and employee populations such as senior leaders, steering committees, operational stakeholders and subject matter experts. This person will need to motivate people, build consensus and ultimately achieve timely results within budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8 years Compliance, Legal, HR, business or relatedfield

    Critical Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skillsincluding the ability to communicate at all organizational levels

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with adiverse group of stakeholders

  • Strong customer focus with a sense of urgencyand flexibility to adjust quickly to multiple demands, shifting priorities andrapid change

  • Strong project management skills with attentionto detail

  • Advanced Excel required including the ability tocreate pivot tables and charts and use formulas

  • Basic knowledge in business, laws and regulationsgoverning health systems preferred

  • Strong data analytical skills with the abilityto distill and analyze data from many different sources

  • As strong understanding of IT systems – ERPsystems, databases, etc. a plus

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required;compliance, legal or human resources experience preferred.
