Grain Elevator Operations Worker II, Ethanol - R3769DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Job Description:Position SummaryThis position is accountable for performing tasks related to grain inspection area, DDGS load-out, grain handling and receiving, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned. Due to the seasonality of the grain operations, the incumbent will work various shifts.Organizational RelationshipThis position reports to Grain Facility Manager, along with various grain operations personnel.Principal AccountabilitiesThe following accountabilities are to be carried out in a manner consistent with the spirit and philosophy outlined in The Andersons' Statement of Principles:1. Exemplify company safety standards by practicing safe work habits, participating in safety meetings/training and reporting unsafe working conditions.2. Operate scales and Ande-Weigh system; grade grain and provide customer service.3. Operate grain handling and receiving equipment, including receipt of grain, transferring operations, grain drying and basic trouble shooting of the related equipment. Maintain knowledge of hazard monitoring equipment capabilities and limitations.4. Load trucks and railcars in accordance with all safety rules, check required information from each truck and driver and complete required documentation.5. Perform all related DDGS load-out functions. Load out other commodities that may be produced by the plant.6. Operate industrial mobile equipment for a skid steer loader, front end loaders, forklift, locomotive, sky track forklift, and mobile man lifts.7. Know housekeeping standards and follow proper cleaning standards for assigned areas.8. Perform other related duties within the general job scope as assigned by supervisory personnel.Working ConditionsThe position involves frequent exposure to fumes, cold, heat, dirt, dust, and noise.
