Job Summary:

Responsible for managing / supervising a team on an activity for one or more moderately large customer accounts. Manages customer relationship for teams of consultants, developers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals assigned to technical projects or customer work sites. Decision making may impact short term goals of unit operations. Typically manages through leads or first level managers.

Essential Job Functions:(not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and processes. Manage quality improvement and configuration control activities. Create common business specific performance and quality measurements, creating and submitting CDRLS.

  • Travel to OCONUS locations 2-3 times annually to assist Government personnel with installation access and transportation during quality inspections and site visits, with coordination and approval from the Government.

  • Successful track record in leading complex aerospace/defense programs as a prime or sub-contractor to a domestic or foreign military organization.

  • Experience throughout the program lifecycle from development through sustainment to include: proposal development, requirements decomposition, generation of system and subsystem statements of work and subcontracts, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts including implementation for cost reduction and performance improvement efforts.

  • Excellent customer interface skills.

  • Demonstrate ability to lead teams in project based environment.

Level of Supervision:

50 personnel

Education & Experience:(or equivalent)

Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred & 5 years’ experience (excess experience may be substituted for Degree).

Licenses & Certifications:

Preferred background in Chem-Bio (CBRN)

Knowledge & Skills:

Preferred background in Chem-Bio (CBRN)

Travel Required:

  • 10-15%

  • Mandatory Travel to South Korea, Kuwait, Qatar, and various CONUS locations

Security Clearance:

Must have a SECRET clearance.
